I think the op here was pointing out that in some gig jobs, you only get paid whilst doing the task (eg delivering the food) rather than the time they are available to work, such as waiting for a food order. The worker can't do anything else whilst waiting, but still doesn't get paid.
This would, of course, depend on the code. But you could ask it to rewrite the code in another language, and add it; claiming it was your own work (which it is, just using an AI tool)
This again opens up the debate of AI generated vs 'hand written' code...
I think that they are a measure of how much you participate in the community here. I've been a member for 6 years, but as I usually lurk, my karma is low. I don't use karma as a measure of other posters but I can see why the management locks certain features for those with higher points.
As an ex-fashion photographer, I can tell you that people using your photos, without permission, is almost standard. The only way to get people to respect the copyright is to threaten legal action.
NB: I am not condoning the actions of this guy, who it seems was offered, I feel, a fair price ($1000) but wanted more, but it is a real issue for small guys who are not lawyers.
I recently contacted the BBC regarding this as I was involved in the curation of a temporary exhibit at The National Museum of Computing.[0]
David Allen, the producer, along with a couple of others involved, were very friendly and keen to see this acknowledged for helping the home computer boom in the UK.
For me personally, I don't think I would be where I am today without these programs.

I always thought that TL;DR was a flippant statement that the post you have made was too long.
This seems to have morphed into 'For those who think that this is too long...' often just the important parts, which is usually a summery.

I went to the Louvre in April and I came away with the impression that the Mona Lisa was the only painting that is better in photographs then in real life. The hall was packed with people, most of whom had literally walked past 2 other Di-Vinci masterpieces hanging nearby. I can see why the Mona Lisa was voted the most disappointing attraction in the world!
The other piece in the museum that is famous for being famous, the Venus de Milo , was similarly surrounded by artwork of a similar level (at least to my untrained eye), also being mostly ignored by the crowds.
The Louvre, however, is an excellent place to visit if you avoid the crowds.
I would also be interested to see if the divorce rate of first marriages has changed. I assume that people getting married later in life is due to a reduction in the 'moral' pressure of living together.
The man owns the company, or at least 60% of the vote, and can do what he likes with it.

Indeed, the only time I have seen this is when someone was being investigated for gross misconduct, or a 'surprise' redundancy. I assumed that the company just didn't want anything untoward happening.
Some years ago, I accidentally ordered two new phones from different providers at the same time. AS I had a 14 day 'cool off' I phoned one company to cancel, as I didn't like that phone, and they offered me a much better deal. I then phoned the other to pretend to cancel and got a reduction in my bill there!
