Quick Intro: 15 year old digital agency with heavy focus on Magento and marketing needs an expert Magento Developer. This person would be responsible for application development from eCommerce to Content Management Systems for a diverse client base.
We must live in a parallel universe except I'm a few years ahead of you. Short summary of where I was at exactly your age: No college, self-taught, built a very successful online business from 18-24, didn't go out as business consumed me, still managed a long term relationship from 21-25, owned a nice home, and had good savings. Here is my personal story of what happened after 25:
My relationship was fading as neither of felt like we were meant to be together for a life time. I'd just left my company with no real plan. My high school friends either went to the military or coupled up. I felt a bit left behind, but that wasn't going to hold me back. I've never been much of an outgoing person so I knew it was going to be an uphill battle to 'restart' life. I sold all my things, found a condo in the middle of my fast growing and young city, and then started talking to everyone. At first I was very nervous, but then I started making amazing connections. Turns out many people were in the same situation I was! Randomly at the pool two other guys and I started talking tech which lead into further conversation about setting up a dinner. Went to dinner and had a blast - my first real taste of new friends for many years.
I had done what I thought was the impossible. Formed a nice group of like-minded, fun, and adventurous friends beyond the age of 25! From the night after that first dinner we've continued to have an absolute blast. Any given night we could grab a few drinks after work, do a dinner, hit up downtown, or whatever came about. We've pooled resources and did had some insane trips/adventures from staying in a penthouse in Las Vegas, celebrating ST. Patrick’s day in Chicago, staying on a private island on the coat, and so many other short day trips.
With this group I was able to network with even more amazing people. I've easily increased my friends network 15x since high school. The best part? I was able to meet the women of my dreams. Sounds cliche, but it couldn't be truer. Three years later the group is now half couples and half single guys which works out quite well. We do less then we used to for sure, but the weekends are still filled with fun adventures and trips.
At the same time I picked up a job at one of the coolest internet agencies in town via this new circle. Started in a middle level stagiest position to get my foot in the door. Two years later I find myself in an upper management position in the exact department I'd dreamed of working in.
So long story short - live life! Go out, talk to everyone, be nice, find a group, and have the time of your life. I did it.. and it's awesome.
