I felt very similar to you at one point in my life. Like most people the reason you are depressed is because you have a idea/vision of what your life should be like and because it isn't that way, it is upsetting you.
We are products of our rituals/habits. To change my thinking and spawn out of my depression I realised I had to take consistant action. So, now I spend an hour every day working out and another hour listening or watching something inspirational. Then, I start my day.
I would highly suggest you watch some of Tony robbins' seminars on youtube.
Hi Rex, I am currently working on a live demo. But, how it basically works is your company has a subdomain e.g yourcompany.testimonialboard.com - this is where all your testimonials will be displayed like in the screenshot.
To get your customers to share a testimonial on your Testimonial Board you would need to redirect them to yourcompany.testimonialboard.com/new, then they will be able to share a testimonial about there experience with your product. You would have full control and can delete any unfair reviews.
Thanks for sharing such a personal experience Paul. This article resonated with me deeply. I also wonder about God and try to make sense of my own existence. Great post!
Thanks for your response. Some people have tried to tackle this problem but, I feel it can be done much better and as you said, incorporate some kind of social elements.
Hi, thanks for your response. The goal of this would not be to stop you opening more tabs but, to help you manage those tabs. Kind of like Dropbox for tabs, I think. Would you be interested in using something like this?
Thanks for your response. I'm definitely having the same problem, If I do built this, you will be able to have tab categories and more advanced features.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I haven't fully completed it yet, I wanted to actually find out if people would use something like this before I wrote any more code. I could send you an email when it's complete.
I can relate to this article. I've found that waking up at 6am and going for a jog was a great way to start the day. Also, as a programmer you can lose all sense of time whilst pounding away at a project. My way of disengaging from that is going to the gym, the cinema or just hanging out with friends. You must be sure to not get lost in the start-up race and do things that have nothing to do with your start-up every now and then at least. Great article!
