The post sounds a bit emotionally charged... I've met people who can code and optimize SGD from scratch, but never wrote linked list more than once or twice in their life. I've also met people who are so proud of their algorithm and data structure knowledge, they tried to use it everywhere, like connecting instances in a linked list, which killed efficiency. If anyone self taught is reading this, don't be discouraged, keep learning and you'll get there, some of the best developers I know were self taught.
Interesting. I like the aesthetic. Personally I'm not good at reading shorthand and lambda functions in python. I rather type it out fully to help with clarity. But the simplicity is intriguing. I can totally see people find joy program in it :)
Thank you. I read a lot of papers drive equations from Euler's formula, which helped with result, but I didn't have any intuitive understanding, but when I watched geometric breakdown of it, it suddenly made sense. It's just my attempt to share my excitement. I do agree my writing could definitely be improved.
What do you want to learn? Try top down approach. Meaning if you want to build electronics, start broad, get Arduino, run sample code, get it to do things, then dive into details only if it's necessary. In my opinion, it's useless to memorize bunch of equations, it doesn't come up as often as you think, and eventually you'll forget about them. I imagine the process is like any acquisition. From what I've seen so far, basic things people look for:
1. Business Registration (LLC, B corp, C corp, etc)
2. PnL for past 5 years
3. Tax statements
4. Banking statements
5. Inspect codebase, database, and cloud infra.
Also I'm surprised that you'd ask it here. Considering you're about to drop $250k, I imagine you'd hire a lawyer to look over everything.
