I thought about this for years until I graduated from university years ago. Besides knowing what they are talking about, the second most important pre-requisite for me in a good teacher is sense of (healthy) humor. Plain and simple. Knowing their stuff but no sense of humor, I rather read Socrates or learn from a robot , because they are all the same to me: boring!! : (
