The greatest part about my project is I can also do absolutely nothing, and I can do it for $30,000 dollars less than these guys. That's an infinite return on nothingness! My kickstarter to stop the big bad government from searching through our amazon shopping carts just reached it's goal of $0! Thanks guy's! We really taught them a lesson about collecting all that data we throw out in the open and give to multi-billion dollar corporations. Safety be damned! Plus the NSA is useless, look how few attacks we have had since 9/11, obviously the NSA has nothing to do with that. The government is out to get us people, this entity made up of hundreds of thousands of positions, changing and revolving all the time definitely has an organized long term goal set up to spy on everything we do, because it's not like they are also american citizens watching out for themselves as well. The government is a single entity that wants power just because, they don't care about observing and foiling terrorist plots, they just want to control you because big brother.

With something lightweight like this it would definitely be a lot better with a simple file system instead of a whole database that you need to set up and deal with. I have done something similar before in PHP, but the Ghost front end is really nice.

The same bitcoin confirmation, photo conformation, and thanks was also done in the fake hit that the FBI set up around a former friend of DPR who stole a bunch of coke or something. DPR should and will be charged for both of these and many solicitors of murder have been charged for much much less.
And yesterday we were all talking about how it was such a shame that they did the whole Greplin to Cue jump. At least they're doing good for themselves now. I can definitely see how this would fit in with apples calendar, email, tasks and all that other stuff to aggregate your schedule.
Agreed, I feel like by building things like this it just hampers all the work that is being built to replace flash. The best way to change things is to make it so that learning HTML5 and JavaScript becomes worth it, and that is easily done by just not supporting flash.
Saying that handing over money to them somehow = human rights isn't much better than the people who say that PRISM = protection. Just because LavaBit's shtick and rallying cry is around freedom doesn't mean that they aren't a crap company or that they are telling the whole truth about what has gone down. For all we know the founder is just some wacky libertarian taking an opportunity to give the gov some bad press.
