I am looking to build a productivity app specifically for people who consider themselves to be highly ambitious. This will be a very exclusive app and will have one of a kind features to keep you accountable. Please fill out the interest form I have linked.
Hey guys. I'm a young first-time startup founder who is working on attempting to get some early usage for my newly launched app. I was wondering what kind of advice founders running successful companies have for getting your first 100 users, your first 1000, and your first 100,000. Would love to hear about strategies for growth, what you did, what technologies and softwares you used, etc. If anyone would be willing to hop on calls and give advice syncronously I would absolutely love to discuss. Just looking to learn. Thanks!
Yea, this is why we only are planning on providing baskets that are around 10 tokens. Providing too many tokens provides a whole world of new problems.
I recently talked to a friend of mine who has been investing in the crypto space for 6 years. He has been involved for a much longer time than I have so I've always looked up to him as my mentor in the space.
But recently, he told me that he really has no idea what he's doing when he invests in crypto. He told me that there are too many tokens for him to keep track of. The tokens are way too complicated and its impossible for him to really do his due diligence on the tokens because these are not just simple companies. This is an emerging industry with a million ideas with a million different ways of doing anything. There are too many details for him to make any reasonable judgement on if a token is a good investment or not.
This got me thinking.
If someone who has been in the industry for 6 years is clueless on how to really invest then what hope is there for the retail investor to make smart investing decisions?
There is no hope. They're literally just buying lottery tickets and a lot of people are going to lose all of their money.
But then I started thinking a little more. There are common ideas in the cryptocurrency space that are very likely to succeed. These ideas are pivotal to the future of web3. We cannot build a new financial system or the idea of web3 without these things. Some examples of these are energy efficient blockchains, environmentally friendly blockchains, proof of work blockchains, blockchains that aim to be used as major world currencies, protocols working on decentralizing data storage, blockchain oracles, and many more. Many of these ideas are pivotal and will be very important in the future. Wouldn't it be so much simpler if all a retail investor needed to learn was a simple concept of wtf is a blockchain oracle, at a very high level, and why is it important to make their investment decisions? This is compared to studying the differences between Chainlink, API3, and a bunch of other random oracles.
With this methodology, users could invest in technologies they believe in without worrying about the tokens. They'd be automatically diversified, making their investments safer, and crypto would have been way simpler for them to invest in.
This idea has led me and some friends to begin working on an app. We're currently working through our SEC registration and are planning on launching it next month. If you'd like to try it out or tell your annoying friends (who keep asking you about crypto) to screw off and invest on their own you can find the waitlist sign up on our site, which is linked to this post.
