I'm all for democracy, but the government shouldn't even have the right to regulate markets in such a way that innovation (and competition) can be stifled by the established players.
Some regulations are necessary. They ensure that we don't usually get feces in our food, etc. But this is a clear case of legislation directly interfering with competition.
its despicable that companies like Apple reap enormous rewards and take advantage of American infrastructure and consumers, but don't have the decency to pay their fair share of taxes. I'm not a lover of taxes or the American government, but I think that successful corporations (and people) need to give back to the countries in which they operate.
I love the service that Dropbox provides, but I was appalled to see them exploting their user's IP and content in this manner. I've already removed all of my stuff; this is madness!
