Kragle is a web api and service automation tool similar to IFTTT and Zapier, with some added benefits: the core functionality is user-extensible, meaning that you don't need to wait for us to add support for your favourite site, or get annoyed by the fact that you can't use it to connect to your own in-house systems, etc.
You can use Kragle to connect anything that speaks JSON over REST to anything else, via jobs that you configure to run periodically, similar to cron. Webhooks are also supported, as well as full support for sites requiring OAuth access.
We've launched the system in private beta mode - we have a complete set of developer-oriented documentation, and all core functionality is up and running, albeit only via API access to our system (we're working on the front-end now, while the private beta runs).
So... that's where you all come in, my tech-savvy HN-surfing friends. Now that the system is live, we need beta users to start building some awesome automation and provide us with feedback/etc. We have 100 accounts to hand out to qualified beta users - people who know how to whip up quick JSON-speaking code that will be able to interact with our API and start using (and testing) the system.
Accounts will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you're interested, please send an email to info at kragle dot io. The first 100 requesters should expect an email tomorrow afternoon with details on where/how to access the system, etc.
For those not JSON/REST-savvy, please feel free to email us with any and all questions/comments/etc, and/or let us know if you'd like to be put on a notification list so we can let you know when the system leaves private beta and is ready for public access (no spam - we promise).
You can also follow us on Twitter, we're @KragleIO.
Cheers, and we look forward to hearing from all our future users!
