You can't get a website from them, but Square + iPad is a pretty popular POS setup for local joints in my area (food trucks, non-franchise restaurants, carts, etc). For a website + online orders, you might check out Wordpress, there are a lot of high-quality restaurant themes; there's also the WPPizza[1] plugin which looks promising. If you need something more flexible and are willing to build, I'd recommend using Stripe[2] to process orders through your website (they also support coupons[3]).

There are a few turnkey solutions out there such as NZ based mobi2go[1]. I've briefly looked into making something similar since restaurant websites tend to be so bad [2], but I don't know anyone in the industry and like you said, margins are tight.
Menu sites like Seamless[3] offer similar services, so that might be worth a look if you don't mind being thrown in with the competition.

I was a developer at some point in my life. Many things have happened since then, and today I have a gourmet pizza restaurant (not a franchise). I'm a frequent reader, but my friend recommended me to post here.
We have no real website, online ordering, apps/infrastructure. I wanted to know - what's out there? Most of the companies out there charge far more than I'm willing to pay considering the margins in the business.
I have the capability to develop and maintain, even with external help - however, I've never really gotten someone to provide me additional value beyond what I can get with a CMS, template, and maybe a basic free CRM.
What I want is a website, online order management, a coupon system, and online payment platform. It surprises me that there is no turnkey solution out there, unless there is? Happy for any information. Thanks.
