Is there anything like ARIS for the Android?

For the past few days, I've pestered a number of people about location-based game platforms. ARIS was named by a few sources as a great option, except I don't have an iPhone, and it doesn't appear that ARIS runs on an Android.

Is there a similar platform out there (or in development) that has a broader reach?
