Unless it's actually an encryption key or devastating 0-day, I don't think any line of code can justify that kind of valuation.

Lines of code can be very long though.

At this point, maybe they're talking about the perfect LLM Chatbot frontend and the cost of deobfuscating!

Man, why is it so hard to believe that inovations can happen outside of USA. I am not saying china is not after some code/algorithms. But still, maybe people there are also working hard on these problems.
