Hm, I didn't know about this bot. It's a new one, created in March this year. I created my bot 3 years ago, there was nothing like it then.
Looks similar, with additional functionality.
Sad, actually, my bot got zero traction and so somebody had to write their own bot, which is now more popular... So much for motivation to create new things... Oh, well.

Seems like this bot is dumber.
I used it for a day with a single keyword "aging" - so far it sent me two posts: one for "swaging" and the other one for "messaging" :)

I've made a telegram bot that can send you new Hacker News stories by keywords.
You specify a list of tags, for example "ai, tesla, musk" and it will start sending you all new stories matching those words.
That's very helpful to decrease noise and only get what you're interested in.
Special tag [show] notifies about all 'Show HN' posts.
You can also use host names: "[show], github.io".
