Carta is the reason I was unable to exercise my shares. It's to be expected that as a Canadian contractor they would have fewer or different forms of payment. However, that does not excuse rejecting my wire transfer(s!) without explanation when I was trying to correct a deficit of <$10 on my account balance (caused by intermediart fees).

I phoned and emailed with customer support for many hours over mamy weeks and they made no effort to help me. I asked them if I could fly there and give them the remaining <$10 in person and they said their software wouldn't support it.

I don't know why or how Carta can get away with customer service like this, but it left me dry thousands of dollars worth of shares.

Do not recommend.
