Anyone in normal health getting a second or follow on shot (aka booster) should have done so only with a negative D-Dimer test monitoring their reaction to their initial (or previous) shot. It was known very early on in 2021 that about 30% of the population will test positive on the D-dimer test (monitors for clotting reactions). A doctor not monitoring or at least recommending this test would be very irresponsible to their patient.

As far as allergic reactions, these are also common but not nearly as common as the 30% prevalent micro-clotting reactions detected by D-dimer test. It is possible there is some correlation between these, as micro-clotting might result in all sorts of undesirable immune reactions (eg macrophage related), some of which would result in an allergic reaction.
