Plasma magnets can be used to accelerate a spacecraft up to 2% speed of light by dynamic soaring. This next idea is to combine dynamic soaring with nuclear fusion pellets to reach up to 20% light speed. I believe it's the only engine (except for antimatter) that could feasibly be used for human interstellar travel.
