If it’s just cough suppressant and buspar, I imagine it could be prescribed off-label instead.
Bupropion is Welbutrin, not buspar. Just to clarify. Buspar is buspirone.
So it's Wellbutrin and cough syrup, seriously? Could this be as simple as getting a Wellbutrin RX and taking it with cough suppressant? Surely...surely not?
yes, theoretically. the wrinkles are: finding a cough syrup that's pure DXM, and if they're doing anything fancy with extended release (I don't think so, but worth checking.)
your best bet is getting a compounding pharmacy to make the tablets for you, if your insurance doesn't cover this and it's too expensive out-of-pocket.

This is DXM, a dissociative like ketamin, found in cough medications like Robotussin. You can get quite high on it.
So maybe this is supposed to be a scattershot to try two things that might work. If it comes back after a week without, it was the BUP that worked, otherwise the DXM.
