Toothbrush has BT. You cant really run BT stack on anything smaller due to BT being the single worst tech specification by a committee in existence.
Just to amplify your point a little for the uninitiated, the current 5.3 version of the Bluetooth Core Specification is a 3085 page PDF document.
That document contains Volumes 0 to 7.
Each volume has multiple Parts, labelled A, B, C, ... in several cased up to Part H.
And each Part has Sections with the standard hierarchical outline numbering, Section 1, Section 1.1, Section 1.1.1 etc.
Each Part of each Volume can have it's own section 1.1 or 3.1 or whatever. Consequently the document contains literally dozens of Sections with the same outline number. It's extremely tedious to navigate or to find specific details (you need to guess the terminology and in some cases the terms vary from Volume to Volume).

As someone uninitiated, why didn't someone at some point say "this is ludicrous for what should be a short range wireless spec"? What do all those pages contain? Is IEEE 802.11 that long?
Afaik thats what BT LE is supposed to be.
Compared to BT Wifi is easy and Ethernet/IP outright hobby level trivial.
