I would become religious strictly for the benefit of getting laid. Especially if there were a lot of women and no other guys to compete with. +1 if their religion has no problem with promiscuity and sex without marriage (or maybe I could just marry them all.)
Otherwise, I could care less about the survival of the human race. In the grand scheme of things, our survival is meaningless. There is likely intelligent life elsewhere anyways. Once I die, I won't be around care.

Do us all a favor and just lie instead. Lie about being religious.
I would suggest to them that if they believed in God and his wisdom then the reason I and them were left alive was because God decided that the earth needed to be cleaned and re-populated, like with Noah. And as a believer it is their duty to re-populate the planet they have been blessed with. God has seen fit to select me to survive and father his children through them, so no matter what happens letting me smash the crap out of them is the best thing to do

I think the idea of an atheist becoming religious is unlikely to happen.
Why would it be more unlikely, than the religious women sleeping with an atheist?

I encourage you to use your hacker mentality and solve the problem. Although unlikely the survival of the human race may very well depend on you being prepared.
Picture this. The earth has been bombarded by astroids and only a handful of people have survived. A lot of religious women and a couple of highly intelligent atheist men. Now these religious women do not want to have sexual intercourse with unbelievers, but time is short. Either the men rape the women and start rebuilding society or the women have their way and everyone dies out. Would rape be justified? If so, how much force should be used? Is it possible to humanely rape a woman? Basically so you could say you were not proud of what you did, but it had to be done and you did it as humanely as possible.
