many things have varrying degrees of truth and thus one must ask why one truth is being brought to your attention and not other truths ( trustworthiness , and importance )
the bringer of truth must have sincere intentions for his subject who he brings the truth to, and the bringer must also have discretion, because you don't want any moron wasting your time with brittany spiers views on physics.
truth can be totally irrelevant an unimportant, or worse, it can be important but brought to you for the wrong reasons, such as blocking out other truths that are judged more essential for the subject, by the bringer of truth.

meanwhile as they release all sorts of faked boring data about the cmbr observatory plans and how the 'dish' is producing revolutionary new discoveries, they are in fact perfecting the death star lazer.
they will then finally turn the moon around! how? who knows. why? so they can then hold the earth hostage. the great reveal accomplished, they pick target cities, one lazer attack at a time. WAIT NO. !They never turn the moon around. Too implausible. Also too risky , they will be found out!
What they really do is use the moon lazer to shoot the sun, in order to guide a solar X class flare directly at earth, to destroy earth civilization so they can rebuild it. that's wayyyyy more plausible, and it also means they never have to threaten direct attack upon earth because , earth side and orbital observatory wont' be able to observe a dark-side of the moon lazer-beam being pointed directly at the sun.
never mind the problems with lazer attenuation.

growing up in new york and living in manhattan skyrises, the level of inefficiency and wasteful airconditioning borders on near deliberate recklessness , both in design and maintanance of structures.
skyrises were litterally built to bake in the sun and then have people use airconditioning to shoot up hot air outside the faces of the building, further heating up the interior.
to boot, many skyscrapers were built to trap air inside so as to ensure apartments don't get smells and stale air from other apartments or hallways, and thus, the pathway of air going through a labrynth of ductwork is completely inadequate.
oh yea, but you can air-condition your small box in a tooth pick tower with brick heat mass on the outside that radiates all day and then all night inwards into the structure.

more importantly why is it so much easier to get to geostationary orbit from the lunar surface, than it is from earth's surface ?
and does this have major implications for the race to control the moon, as whoever controls the moon, may have a much easier time launching anything to geostationary orbit, including firing directed energy weapons to that orbit, which, despite long distance attenuation of the energy, still faces no interference by an atmosphere as it would if directed from earth's surface.
the military probably has that questions answered but you'd need a security clearance to retrieve it.
