The article doesn't mention how well `pass` integrates with `git`. Once you do that, you get revision history, you can push it to a private repo (github, gitlap, etc), and keep your passwords in sync across multiple devices
We use NFS for volume sharing for Docker Desktop on OSX and it's really fast (edit: really fast compared to without it, still not as good as Docker on Linux).
Inspiron 14 7000 has home/end at F11/F12 spots. And I had to follow some strange instructions to hack to BIOS to make the SSD available in Linux. It has Ubuntu on it now and it's OK.
Agree. I supported a DOS based touchscreen Point of Sale (POS) with technology from decades ago and it was fast AF. You only got 256 colors and the fonts didn't look that great. But it was a speed demon.
I was taught in business school (early 2000s) that it was good that GE fired the lowest 10% performing employees b/c the employees were not actually happy or content at GE or they would perform better. Therefore firing them is good b/c they'll find a better career fit elsewhere.
But I actually think it is terrible. It pits co-workers against each other and makes taking credit for an accomplishment more important than doing what's best for the organization.
Wish I would've known about this before I spent hours and hours transferring my GMusic library to Plex on a rpi in my house. Oh well, I'm too lazy to change again. Gonna stick with Plex for now.

This is what I use for my own passwords and I'm able to sync them across devices, which is nice.
Epson receipt printers have had network modules / adapters for 10+ years. Both wired and wireless.
IIRC you have to sign an NDA to get access to the documentation for the Epson ESC codes to do things like bold, inverted text, bigger fonts, print images, cut the paper, etc.
I used netcat to write bytes to a network printer 10+ years ago. It was pretty cool. You can also write to the serial port for serial printers, with the same bytes. It's very simple.
It's probably elsewhere but I don't realize it.
