Why would I pay for a theme that has been free for over 5 years now? Bundling your free and open source tools and selling them seem like the most crooked way of building a business. I just don't get the point at all.

Don't get me wrong, I love the theme and been using it for years but that's not the proper way of asking for financial support. I'd pay for a Patreon, or any kind of other financial support instead, before buying this kind of unreasonably expensive package.

The fact that we need such boilerplate solution to start building a simple Mac app without having XCode in the way in 2020 means a lot about the current state of native app development.
Not high performing enough to make sure your website shows something with javascript off? That's a freaking blog and all I see is a white blank page. Using React for a blog is kinda over-engineering it nope?
Non corporate job is not a solution? I've been freelancing for the last 3 years doing very good money and having great clients, doing everything I want, how I want them, convincing my clients to use cool tech and teaching them at the same time. There's a lot of other ways to get a nice resume other than having shitty jobs. All corporate jobs I had were total nightmares, I wouldn't go back for nothing in the world to be quite honest. Low salary, bottom feeding whores waiting for the next project to rapidly spit out to get more done faster every week with tons of never ending meetings, no thanks. I'll go back to my home office, with my coffee, music, cat and awesome living room to take breaks in.
I guess so, I've been using it to run Chrome just for the lolz and it works really well. Just add an app to your Steam library, then run it and good chances are that it'll actually start. Sometimes it doesn't but in most cases it works well!
It's really working great, I've been using it for about the past six months (beta) and it always went great, way better than expected. I wasted hours and days trying to come with a similar solution and it always sucked. Glad they came up with something actually enjoyable.
Logged in just to say, whoever thinks the old or the new Joomla is a great tool says bullshit or never really had to get their hands dirty with it because it plain sucks. I hate Wordpress and I'd rather use it than Joomla. Plain HTML FTW.
I 100% agree, I just started using AngularJS and I'm very happy to see a preview of what I'll have to learn in the future and how current practices will change.
Amen. I 100% agree with you on all points. I'm not against emails, but against the software we used to manage them.
If it wasn't for so much trouble and different case scenarios I would definitively work on an Email client. I'm sure we're not the only one who are looking for something new and better.
That is the real only enemy and this case, and one that I myself fear. That is why you must back yourself up with a good blog with announcements and an goal descriptive product page (showing the user/client which way we're heading and what's the vision).
A good vision description (sales pitch) can sell almost anything.
