There are not sets of polished, battle-tested UI libraries made for server side. Bootstrap ships with JS, but most of the CSS and template frameworks assume you’re using a headless setup.

YouTube Shorts are full of AI animal videos with distorted proportions, living in the wrong habitat, and so on. They popped up on my son’s account and I hate them for the reasons you outline. They aren’t cartoonish enough explain away, nor realistic enough to be educational.
Check out shuffle.dev, they have generators and components for the most popular frameworks. A great way to learn is to create the same pages with different libraries and observe the similarities and differences.
I’ve been using Brave + Startpage for a few years on mobile. I couldn’t get used to DDG or other search engines. Adblocking is quite good but also catches legit some tooltips and modals.
These are some really uncharitable takes. A lot of us have found value in the author’s writing and code contributions over the years, many of which he made on his own time. This type of post is subjective by nature, give the guy a break.
The product and the website are really slick, but there is nothing about who made this other than "FormKit, Inc." in the footer. Is this a group, an individual, a subsidiary, or what?
