Isn't this the case for every major OS? I know FreeBSD device drivers can be (un)loaded on-the-fly. Same for MacOS. I assume it's also possible in Linux(?)
Paid VPNs like Nord, Proton, Express. Seriously doubt it. Their estimated subscribed count * subscription cost is worth a lot more than selling data, specially considering it would kill their business the minute it came out.
It says it will double their customer base to 6M. Considering ExpressVPN's subscription is $100/y, we're looking at around +$300M/y revenue. I really doubt selling data is worth more than that or even worth jeopardising that revenue.
Why would I need to set up an account to see the price movements? You'd rather go down the conspiracy lane than try to see it from the user's / reviewer's perspective.
Do you think the Salvadorians do not have a bank account because of the lack of banking infrastructure or because of the fees to use it or lack of funds to justify it?
