Have you tried VSC for C# (yes asp core). The debugging is just broken. I would not recommend any sane person using VSC for C# related large project development.
I assume you mean just the Windows Visual Studio? The Mac version is not exactly on par with the Windows. Yeah C# is great, but one would need Window's version of VS (NOT VS Code) to take full advantage of C#. For me that is a deal breaker, when the DX of a language is tight to a proprietary sourced IDE by MS.

In the end of day it is all about implementation. It is nice that there are lawyers and economists involved, but are the founders sound artists? have they toured? run a music venue? Asking for the founding fee of $100 seems quite a bit much, but then again does seems a bit like the vibe coming from LA area who is out of touch with the rest of the world.

If you not a HN person with systemadmin skills yes. But is NOT that hard to have in house RADI hd setup, with failover server. Or failover NAT gateway. AWS and cloud provider are just a rip off.
