It's funny when radical progressivists in my country try to translate the "white male" cliché into our local context, because white (as in caucasian white) people are are less than 5% of our population.
In Spanish-colonized countries we have first name, second name, first surname and second surname so we have a bigger space to choose from. I have [email protected], which is a little long, but very easy to say and listen (my name and surnames are relatively common). And my HN username is the concatenation of the initials of my 4 names.
I've wanted to do the same for a while now, but I'm unable to find a curriculum that lists the textbook for each subject.
It looks like the article author is just "guessing" textbooks. I'm browsing the U. Waterloo curriculum and it doesn't specify any books.
The article is still useful, don't get me wrong, but I would love to see a list of the textbooks that are actually used at a university program. I've Googled it many times and I only find the names of the courses.

I've been following tinnitus research and the most promising treatment is FX-322 [1]. It's a drug that will treat hearing loss, but it could also help diminish tinnitus.
It's currently in phase 2a [2] and results come out next year [3].
