It is both scary to watch and yet fun to be alive to see it come to fruition.
It is occurring in every dimension, including the ability to track who buys and sells with crypto currencies along with the ability to punish or reward people based on ai hardware software infrastructure deployments.
> It's like this in a lot of places now. We're seeing climate change in the interval of a generation. It's absolutely scary.
I have lived in the same place my whole life. The weather and seasons are effectively the same, from the day i was born until now. Both observationally and by way of looking at average daily temperatures.
You should consider thinking of people as precious, rather than these odd fine tuned segregated negative groups seemingly based on skin color, political leanings or social status.
I learned once (on npr when i used to listen to it) that when you hear some new information, you should immediately think the opposite. This gives you the ability to not subconsciously weight the idea you heard higher than you should. After all, for every point in life a reasonable counter point exists.
I've done this for many years and I do believe the practice has helped me not blindly believe things.
Many people throughout history realize that a happy life only comes from knowing God, who is the source of joy.
For instance, consider the famous mathematician and physicist, Leonhard Euler, who wrote in
"A Defense of the Revelation Against the Objections of Freethinkers",
XVII. Proportional to the measure of knowledge that a reasoning creature
can acquire, he cannot be happier than when he guides his will in a manner
that conforms perfectly to the duties known to him and when he tames the
affectations that could oppose them with so much success that there are
none left that do not conform to these duties. Any man who has reached this
state enjoys true tranquility of soul, and there is no longer anything
capable of altering his tranquility. Nor can anything increase it,
since it is only when understanding reaches the most perfect
knowledge that the will also improves because of this knowledge
and submits itself more and more to the will of God.
Another perspective, adopted by millions is simpler, and more joyful to explain. This life is temporary, but a life with Christ in heaven is eternal. Our christian funerals are often celebrations about a journey on earth well fought.
American government was intended to be limited. That would limit the number of people, and the power that they have in government.
Today, our government is huge, and has a lot of power. This means that often times the people that get into government aren't doing it as a servant to the people, but instead as a service to themselves.
We need more servants. Viewing this reality and calling it Apathy or not Apathy is a perspective. We are all free to our perspective, and I think the wider variety, the better.
I can imagine all the people staring at these software projects amazed at the genius it must have taken to create them. :)
