Yeah the censorship is cancer. Way over the top. There was a point when it wasn’t anywhere near as bad but 2020 really pushed all these tech companies over the brink

It’s funny how people have this hate of trailer parks and you can just hear it in the way they talk down on it. But somehow tiny houses and modular homes that cost even less are somehow completely acceptable and beloved.
I recently moved to Texas and as an avid outdoorsman was looking at some of the diseases that ticks carried. Was surprised that there was a relatively low occurrence of Lyme in the states ticks and thought I was in the clear… guess that may not be the case. The irony of this disease is pretty unreal - acquiring an allergy to red meat. How un-Texan!
Well, one area that Gridcoin isn't / hasn't been availed for is the fact that it (like folding@home) has projects that helped do research on COVID. Although folding@home didn't provide any monetary reward - at least Rosetta@home is a supported GRC project. Obviously the token price would need to be higher to make the break even cost of the servers & mining feasible, but it is a neat project.
I think in a big way this is necessary, this in essence makes crypto that is truly anonymous. If I slide a briefcase full of cash across the floor to someone - nobody knows that happened. Tree falls in the forest and no one is there to see it essentially. If I send a bitcoin in the forest - well I damn well better hope I have an internet connection. The Brixton Pound is a very similar concept but for a much smaller market. I'm interested to see where it goes from the standpoint of the future of physical cash finding a place in a digital world - but it isn't without it's flaws.
