We've opted for colloquial transference (e.g. I had breakfast at 7 => always AM, no matter what timezone) over a standardized measure.
It makes sense honestly, noon "feels like" noon no matter where you are in the world. But the ease of use of e.g. Unix time shows the cost of using timezoned times.
I had to disable autocomplete recently, neither autocomplete="false" or autocomplete="off" worked. MDN (source below) indicates using "new-password, but in my experience passing in any random string to the autocomplete attribute did work.

Agreed, and that brings up a very interesting discussion of prejudice in modeling the world. Everyone views the world differently and it seems to me of vital importance that any attempts to model the real world for RL are as unbiased as possible. Or more realistically, incorporate as many different biases as possible.
I think for companies like Activision, EA, analytics drive a massive amount of their decision making.
I would even go so far as to posit that Blizzard (a master of psychological manipulation), most decisions are driven by analytics based optimization for engagement FIRST, then mechanics and creative design get to come play.

I think there's a tremendous irony in this response. Disregarding the "accuracy" of your claims or my own political viewpoints, it seems to me that you are demonstrating the same phenomenon that was discussed in the OP.
