Press must love these types of articles.

ChatGPT isn't some person but people see it as mystical enough that this hyped up product provides results for things that are unfavorable.

You know what else provides similar results when you ask it, Google. It's just that this tool speaks the results back to you in a way that makes it seem human.

I am looking forwarded to the day where we're not so surprised that LLM's give you answers and responses for things that are unfavorable.

Generally I agree with you. From the article it seems as if the chat bot has led them there. Maybe one of those "Are you further interested in A or B?" questions. If that's the case, there might be more nuance to it.
