iOS doesn’t support WebM, so no.
It hasn't always been this way, but Safari on iOS (and therefore all iOS browsers) and on Mac have supported WebM for years.
Safari on iOS does not support WebM.

That’s a walking nightmare, not sure what’s cute about it.. that being said, I wished they talked more about the technicalities being on IEEE than just advertising Disney.
Fwiw this is spectrum, not proceedings. Spectrum has always been a bit more pop, closer to popular science than a real journal. I remember their goofy renders of folding computers in the early 00s looking like something right out of popular science

What definition of “robot” are we using here?
I imagine like the "robot" in MIB where they open it up, and there is something not mechanical inside
for me, it is software that controls moving hardware in a way that is "smart", but not predictable (for lack of a better word).
Examples of some things that aren't robots:
- Remote controlled thing that looks like a robot
- An automata that is pre-programmed to do the same thing over and over
- a "robot" arm in a car factory that paints the same thing over and over
- etc...
In other words, it needs to be somewhat smart

What are some examples of things that are robots?
Disney did something like that once before. They had a dinosaur pulling a cart in one of the parks. The cart was doing most of the work. The legs of the dinosaur were playing an animation, not propelling the cart.
Eventually they'll have free-roaming intelligent robots in the parks, but not yet.
